After over 23 years of ringing in my ear (tinnitus is the medical term for it) and sleep disturbances, research led me to the reason for my symptoms: Excessive exposure to #electromagneticradiation. I only trust peer-reviewed studies during my research so that I know that the information is valid.
Electromagnetic radiation is everywhere. It’s a type of radiation that includes “visible light, radio waves, microwaves, gamma rays, and X-rays, in which electric and magnetic fields vary simultaneously.”

Here are a few ways to mitigate exposure:
1. Eliminate all wireless connections, especially at home. Hardwire internet access. Disable Bluetooth and Wifi.
2. Use technology safely by using speakerphone during the use of your cell phone and putting it in airplane mode when not in use. The legal disclaimers and cautions regarding mobile devices are hidden in the settings, general, legal and regulatory, RF Exposure area of an iPhone. Duration of exposure and proximity of radiation-emitting device (your cell phone) to the body (distance) is key.
3. Distance is your friend. Since research shows that electromagnetic radiation is hazardous to human health, make sure that your Wifi router and wiring in your home office (if applicable) is at least 23 feet away from your body.
4. Make your home a sanctuary, especially the sleeping area. Eliminate all wires and electronics. Seriously! I did and my rest significantly improved.
